After 35 years running a hot glass workshop and glass gallery in Hay on Wye, we are now retiring an selling all our equipment.

Studio Glass Furnace
Furnace with a 50 kilo capacity Sillimanite pot. An efficient glass small gas fired glass furnace with recuperator suited to studio glass makers. Complete with Pete Howard combustion system. The Eurotherm 815P controller /programmer allows you to run different programmes.
The outside dimensions of the furnace are Height from floor 150cm Width 108cm Depth 109cm. The chimney which contains the recuperator is Height 180cm from floor, Width 31cm Depth 31cm.
The gathering port is 23cm x 23cm. The overflow hole is 19cm x 19cm. (see diagram in photos)

Gloryhole
Gloryhole on robust steel frame with wheels. Pete Howard combustion system and rolling yoke with multi port burner and all controls and safety solenoids. Gets up to temperature quickly and temperature can be easily changed with one wheel at end of yoke.
Height from floor 135cm, width of Drum 61cm, length of Drum 64cm.
Ceramic fibre internal with cast doors. Internal width 39mm.
With both sets of doors open the internal ring hole diameter is 33cm. With first set of doors closed hole diameter is 22.5 cm , with second set of doors closed hole diameter is 11cm.

Centrifugal Fans
Two fans for sale, used to provide air to furnace and glory holes. Fan 1 is presently in use, Fan 2 is a back up fan which had bearing and motor rewind in 2019 and has not been used since.
Both fans are 84cm in height from floor and 71cm across. The first 3 photos are of Fan1 and the last 3 are of Fan2

Podmore & Sons Kiln
Three Phase kiln, including Stafford Instuments Temperature Programmer ST315B and associated Thermocouple and Relays/Contractors.
The outside dimensions of the kiln are Height 1400mm Width 830mm Depth 1070mm
The Inside dimensions of the kiln are Height 480mm Width 470mm Depth 620mm,

The kiln is heavy and will have to be collected from our workshop in Hay.

Tru-fire kilns-Manufactured by D.J.WEBB.BEDNALL
Three Phase kiln, including Cambridge Process Controls 401 Plus Temperature Programmer and associated Thermocouple and Relays/Contractors.
The outside dimensions of the kiln are Height 1700mm Width 800mm Depth 990mm
The Inside dimensions of the kiln are Height 1000mm Width 560mm Depth 720mm,

The kiln is heavy and will have to be collected from our workshop in Hay.
